The decision stunned Martinez and Man United players and coaches with many observers slamming the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fernandes provided the assist for Casemiro\u2019s goal for Man United with the loss keeping Man United in third place in the league but tied on 55 points with fourth placed Aston Villa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to Sky\u00a0Sports after the loss, Bruno Fernandes was surprised with the decision and disappointed with the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cWe weren\u2019t great, we gave too much space away. We ended up going 2-0 down, we had time in the second half to turn it around but it was not possible. We had to prepare ourselves in the best way. We did but it wasn\u2019t enough to win the game.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>On Lisandro Martinez\u2019s red card, Fernandes said, \u201cI\u2019m not talking about the referee. If I talk about the referee I\u2019m going to get in very big trouble because the rules are applied differently for everyone. You can see it also in the yellow cards.
