President of the\u00a0Football Association,\u00a0Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku<\/span>, has lauded the FA’s newly signed partnership with\u00a0X1, describing it as a pivotal step in enhancing national and domestic football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The five-year agreement, officially unveiled at a colourful ceremony at the GFA headquarters on Friday, April 17, 2026, sees X1  assume the role of Official Performance Partner of the Black Stars and the Division One League Super Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the launch, the CAF 2nd Vice-President emphasized the strategic significance of the partnership, highlighting its alignment with the FA\u2019s long-term vision for growth and excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday marks a defining moment in our journey to transform and elevate Ghana football. It is with great pride and optimism that we officially announce a landmark five-year partnership between the Ghana Football Association and XI\u2014now the Performance Partner of the Black Stars and the Division One League Super Cup,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>President Simeon-Okraku underscored the timely nature of the collaboration, particularly as Ghana intensifies preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs Performance Partner of the Black Stars, XI Energy will play a vital role in enhancing the preparation, performance and overall well-being of our senior national team. At a time when we are intensifying our efforts on the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, this support could not have come at a better moment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond its impact on the national team, he drew attention to the partnership\u2019s broader contribution to domestic football, describing it as a meaningful investment in the foundations of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
