The IOSH Level 3 Certificate program is designed to:
- Provide Fundamental OSH Knowledge: Equip learners with core principles of occupational safety and health (OSH), including risk management, incident handling, and performance enhancement strategies.
- Develop Practical Application Skills: Enable learners to apply OSH principles practically in workplace settings, enhancing their ability to identify, assess, and manage risks effectively.
- Promote Incident Management Competencies: Instil competencies in incident investigation and management, empowering learners to respond proactively to workplace safety incidents.
- Enhance OSH Culture: Encourage learners to contribute positively to workplace OSH culture through effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with organizational safety goals.
- Establish a Foundation for Professional Growth: Facilitate career progression in OSH by meeting the academic requirements for IOSH Technical Membership (Tech IOSH), providing a pathway to higher qualifications.
How are you assessed?
There are multiple choice knowledge exams and one scenario-based assessments. Both must be passed successfully to achieve the qualification.
The scenario-based assessments consists of tasks, a workplace inspection, a risk assessment, an incident investigation and preparation for a toolbox talk. The duration of this assessment and pass mark will be displayed before you start the exams/quiz
